Make sure that the corners and other dark places of your house are dry. Avoid the water puddles outside your home.
The food for scorpions is small insects like ants, bugs and cockroaches. Cut their food supply by reducing the insect population in your house. This can be done by cleaning your house regularly, cutting of the food source of bugs, sprinkling natural substance like boric acid in your house or spraying insecticides. Once the insect population goes down, your house will be less hospitable for scorpions.

Make sure to get rid of any structures like cardboard boxes, piles of rocks and woods, which can provide shelter to scorpions. Scorpions can also hide in wet clothing on your floor or inside your shoes. Make sure to clean and organize these places regularly.
